During her years in Sydney, Neva combined competitive sailboarding with her work as a writer and photojournalist. A four-time Australian National Women’s Sailboarding Champion, she covered sailing events in Australia and abroad, and authored One with the Wind—a Guide to Windsurfing in Australia.
